Ed is a 20+ year veteran of the Retail Industry with a business implementation focus on people, process and technology. He has a proven track record delivering results and focusing on the customer by improving operations, processes and delivering transformational initiatives. He is currently the President and a co-founder of STAR Collaborative consulting firm in the Minneapolis, MN. His firm provides experienced Business Change and Project Managers to clients to drive business outcomes, increase adoption of initiatives and sustain those benefits. Ed runs the operational side of the business, manages several key clients and is heavily networked with Business Project, Change and Process improvement talent in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
Dan's most recent successes have come in the area of change management methodology and consultancy development. He helped build the internal change management practice at Best Buy, and now, as co-founder of STAR Collaborative, continues to build communities of practice for Fortune 100 companies. Over his career, Dan has provided consulting services in strategic planning, Balanced Scorecard deployment, leadership coaching and change management. He has also led several manufacturing start-ups.
Dan received his MBA from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management in Entrepreneurial Management. He also received a B.A. in Journalism/Mass Communications the University of MN, Twin Cities. Over the last 15 years he has supported the community in many volunteer and leadership positions, including Habitat for Humanity, various youth groups, as well as serving on the boards of several nonprofits.
In her role as Director of Collaboration for STAR Collaborative, Katie builds relationships with consultants in the community and connects them to opportunities with STAR Collaborative clients as well as other individuals and companies in the area. Katie's background includes corporate recruiting, staffing, human resources, and career coaching. Katie has deep experience working with consultants to find great opportunities in multiple fields including IT, finance, marketing, engineering, sales and manufacturing. Katie received her BBA in Management and Human Resources and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Katie has become heavily involved in the Twin Cities community through leadership positions in non-profits and networking organizations.
Lisa is passionate about leveraging her extensive networks to link top talent with the unique needs of her clients and other connections. Her true purpose in life is to make a positive difference to others in all that she pursues. In her role as Director of Recruiting she is able to leverage her extensive background which includes corporate recruiting leadership, human resources management, customer service, business development and professional writing. Lisa has multi-industry experience spanning information technology, business, legal, airline, healthcare, retail and consulting. Her diversified background enables her to help candidates create a purposeful career and she relishes the lasting relationships she has cultivated within the community. Lisa's clients value her core values of honesty, integrity, and transparency, and her commitment to their success.
Over the last 20 years Lisa has aimed to add value to the community in volunteer leadership, recruiting, and youth ministry roles. In her spare time, she seeks opportunities to create memories with her adult children.
After enjoying a successful career as an executive assistant and business office manager for 18+ years, Jeannie left her most recent position with Best Buy in 2009 and founded My Virtual EA. She provides virtual administrative services to the STAR Collaborative team and its consultants by helping manage meetings and process back office paperwork. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for problem solving, Jeannie enjoys creating capacity for her clients so that they can focus on the more important aspects of their business.
Described as a tenacious, yet caring, professional, Jeannie is known for her ability to interface at all corporate levels. From the creation of presentations, to event planning and execution, she has a positive can-do attitude that is paralleled only by her attention to detail and complete follow-through on every project. Jeannie is also Founder and President of Green Chair Creations, a company that provides tools for sustained learning and inspiration.
